State Preservationremains of two columns: col. 1 = ending letters of 18 lines; col. 2 = starting letters of 17 lines + 1 erased line. Gap between lines 1 and 4 (col. 1).
Number of columns02
Column width06.5 - 07 (R)
Letters per line26-27 (col. 1, R);24 (col. 2, R)
Lectional signsapparently large space between l. 1 and 4 (col. 1), which might have served to indicate the end of a previous hypothesis.
Handmedium to fair-sized, informal, round, upright, strictly bilinear, though fairly irregular and carelessly written, letters usually well separated, but occasionally touching or cramped, without decorations; the uneven length and irregular spacing of the lines, the erasure in col. 2, and the overall ungainly appearance may point to a student's hand as suggested by VRS (though not a beginner's, but rather of Cribiore's "evolving" type) or to a private copy (cf. ed. princ.).
